This summer has a lot going on and we'll be there to cover it all.
HSBC Mens and Womens 7s this week comes from Krakow, Poland from April 7th
to 9th.
After two exciting rounds in Cape, Town South Africa, the onus now focuses on Krakow for the third round. Eight teams of both men and women qualified in Cape Town, with Portugal being the outright mens winners and Kenya for the women.
The top four winners in this third round go forward to the play off finals in Los Angeles, USA next month May 4-7th. See www.worldrugby/news for more information.
Big news this week is that the ticket offices are now open for the Womens Rugby World Cup in England on August 22nd. The opening game will feature the two major foes USA and England. The game is to be
played at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light. Tickets are only £10 each for adults and £5 for children. We expect women's rugby to become as big as women's football (or soccer) in the years to come. Support women's rugby now and buy tickets at www.tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.
Also in June of this year look out for the British and Irish Lions tour of Australia. Games against Perth Western Force, Queensland Reds, NSW Waratahs, ACT Brumbies and an Invitational Australia and New Zealand team will be played before the big one against the Australian Wallabies on July 19th in Brisbane Queensland.
Next week will see the Lit 7s player camp setting up in San Diego, California. Our founder Espen will be at the games doing interviews and providing information. He will also be featuring and demonstrating the classy new designs and products for Vortex.
